I've always been that family member taking the snaps but once I had my first baby I wanted to upgrade my skills. I did an online course to learn manual mode, borrowed amazing camera gear from my father-in-law and practiced daily. I practiced on my bub, my sisters, my friends, anyone who would let me snap them.
I initially started "sista snaps" with my younger sister Jac - a lil duo photography team.. I needed the emotional support. She helped me get my big girl pants on and go out on my own :) 
I LOVED it, I loved capturing memories for people and I loved seeing them share and frame their images, and the joy it brought them.

Family is everything to me and I am extremely privileged to have incredibly supportive family all around me.
Time can be fleeting and images can hold memories and peace, having the opportunity to do that for families is so special.
